Hitachi Ignition Coil

An ignition coil is an induction coil that transforms the 12-volt current from a battery into the high-voltage current required by spark plugs to ignite the combustible gas. The ignition coil consists of a primary coil and a secondary coil, each with a different number of wire turns. The primary coil generates a magnetic field with the battery voltage and by using this magnetic field; the secondary coil will have tens of thousands of volts of induced current.
